Scan at 500+ PPI (pixels per inch) - this is required

Get an FD-258 card

Order ATF-compliant FD-258 fingerprint cards from National Gun Trusts.

Get an inkless fingerprint pad

Get the inkless fingerprint ink pad from National Gun Trusts. Clean your hands with rubbing alcohol first and let them dry completely.

Roll your fingerprints at home

Press your finger firmly onto the pad, then roll nail-to-nail onto the card. Re-ink before each print. Practice on paper first and order extra cards in case of smudges.

Scan your completed card

Use a flatbed scanner at 500+ PPI. Save as PNG, JPEG, or PDF. Then upload it here.
